Discover the secrets of Granite Belt wine production on a journey you won’t find on TripAdvisor! Come along with expert guide Adi Schützeneder to meet winemakers at their cellar doors and learn from industry insiders. Explore behind the scenes, sampling exciting new flavours in “alternative” wines—varietals comprising less than 1% of Australia’s crop.
This tour makes the most of the unique high-altitude climate of the Granite Belt, where European varieties of vines and other heritage crops can thrive in Australia. Pair distinctive wines with “old country” local produce on our travels, including a wine tasting masterclass and degustation dinner at QCWT. Make personal connections and explore the human stories behind the flavours on this friendly and delicious journey.
