Guided in viewing by expert astronomers with state-of-the-art telescopes, you will be able to see and appreciate so much more than is visible with the naked eye, in more light-polluted areas, or observed alone. 7 JUNE 2024 — Beyond the city limits and the bright suburban lights, the broad night sky of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland opens into an uninterrupted canvas of astral wonders, where the universe comes alive before your eyes. Join us in our corner of a proposed 900-square-kilometre Dark Sky Reserve as we introduce you to knowledgeable astronomers who will guide you in viewing through state-of-the-art telescopes to explore our stunning night sky for yourself. Accompanied by an illuminating welcome presentation with drinks and nibbles in a relaxed small-group atmosphere, these experiences will open your eyes to the wonders of the cosmos.
