Recommended Fitness
This tour requires a reasonable fitness level to make the most of the experiences available. There will be many occasions for walking trails, including one substantial walk in Dorrigo National Park and a moderate walk in the Pilliga Scrub. Our guided tour of the vast Dubbo Zoo also takes place on foot. There will be alternatives and/or opportunities to rest instead at every point, but many interesting things to see and do will require walking. Please contact us to learn more if you have accessibility concerns.
Good to Know
The accommodation at Dubbo Zoo limits us to 13 double/twin share room options and only 2 single rooms. The first guest bookings will be allocated to the twin share Animal View Lodges (10 available) and then the Bushland Lodges (5 available). The latter have a short walk to overlook the Savannah animals at a viewing area.
