Our astonishing Night Sky Journey is back for another evening in August! Now including pickup and return at gathering points around the Sunshine Coast, a stunning sunset experience and talk overlooking the Glass House Mountains, and time to enjoy the historic Maleny Hotel before venturing out under the stars, this will truly be a night to remember.
Join us for this awe-inspiring event, where expert astronomers will deliver an illuminating welcome presentation, guide you in viewing through state-of-the-art telescopes, explore your interests across the heavens, and answer your questions in a relaxed, small-group setting. There will also be hot drinks provided to keep you warm under the dazzling stars, as well as celestial photography to commemorate your Night Sky Journey. Be amazed by the expansive cosmos above our heads, seen from the unique vantage of this proposed Dark Sky Reserve!

Recommended Fitness
This tour requires a basic fitness level to enjoy. We will walk on grass at our outdoor viewing area to access the telescopes. One telescope is best accessed via a small step ladder. Seating will be provided. Please contact us to learn more if you have accessibility concerns.
Good to Know
Warm layers are a must—it will get cold under the clear sky! We will also move around using minimal lighting during the dark sky experience (red light to preserve our night vision).
Dinner and drinks will be available during our stop at the historic Maleny Hotel (your own choice and cost).
